Disability Section

Purpose

To broaden knowledge and awareness regarding health disparities and health issues impacting people with disabilities. 

Goals

To raise awareness of gaps and barriers in health care for people with disabilities in Oregon.

To provide information on disability issues to public health professionals.

To share information about the public health field with people with disabilities.

To work to improve communication between people with disabilities and public health professionals.

To advocate for policies and programs that enhance the quality of life of people with disabilities
