The Northwest Immunization Conference (NWIC) is an annual event bringing together regional and national specialists to learn the latest information on immunizations and vaccine issues impacting health care practices. The curriculum is designed for a diverse field of health professionals, including immunization providers, public health advocates, epidemiologists, students of nursing and medical professions, and program managers seeking a comprehensive knowledge of immunizations.Immunize Oregon and the Oregon HPV Prevention Alliance are teaming up to virtually host the Northwest Immunization Conference (NWIC) 2020! This virtual event presents a unique opportunity to enhance vaccine knowledge and improve clinical practices by delivering a wide range of health topics throughout the month of August, creating a dynamic and robust curriculum dedicated to improving health equity. Virtually sharing this opportunity with community partners will showcase innovative strategies, resources and services that enhance best practices and support health professions across the region. With August recognized as the National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM), participants will have the chance to connect with health professionals as we highlight the importance of vaccinations to achieve community immunity.
