In-person or Online Melanoma Early Detection Training
May 18, 2019

OHSU Dermatology, in conjunction with the Knight Cancer Institute is launching a War on Melanoma™ to combat melanoma rates in Oregon and beyond. A statewide public health campaign will be rolling out this month with a focus on the early detection of melanoma. We want to ensure that all health providers:

  1. Are aware of the potential influx of patients concerned about skin lesions
  2. Have the ability to learn or improve their knowledge on skin cancers and skin exams

This training was developed to equip all health professionals with the knowledge and skills to provide screenings for skin cancer, detect melanoma early, and empower patients with educational tools and resources.
