OPHA 2019 Annual Conference and Meeting
Now Accepting Abstract Proposals!
April 29 - June 17, 2019

The OPHA Annual Conference and Meeting is the premier public health event that connects public health leaders, professionals, advocates, students, and stakeholders to a breadth of public health work. The OPHA 75th Annual Conference and Meeting will be held in Corvallis, Oregon on October 14-15, 2019. Share your work at OPHA by submitting an abstract!

Abstract submissions are being accepted through June 17, 2019. Abstracts addressing all public health topics are welcome and may be submitted for individual oral presentations, panel discussions, or posters.

Types of Abstract Submission Formats:

Individual Oral Presentation: Oral presentations are 10-12 minutes in length. Three presentations, grouped by themes, will be presented in each session. Additional time will be allotted by a session moderator for Q&A and discussion.
Poster: Posters are visual presentations displayed on 8’ x 4’ bulletin boards. The poster session is scheduled for Monday, October 14.
Panel Discussion: A panel discussion (75-minute program session) includes a moderator and/or discussant and at least three panelists/presentations. Due to time constraints, only a limited number of panel discussions will be accepted. Submit: an overview abstract describing the overall purpose/theme of the panel and a minimum of three separate abstracts, one for each panelist. NOTE: Panel submissions will only be considered if a summary abstract AND separate abstracts for each presentation are submitted.

The abstract submission form and instructions are now available on the OPHA website. Link: https://www.oregonpublichealth.org/call-for-abstracts
