Call to Action on Climate, Health, and Equity

As Oregon’s leading health professionals and organizations—representing public health, health care, health systems, and community health organizations—we call on Governor Brown and State lawmakers to protect the health of Oregonians and prioritize the recommendations laid out in the full Oregon Call to Action on Climate, Health, and Equity. The 10 points are summarized here.

We are joining with voices across our nation and the world to make it known that climate
change has now become a health emergency.

We presented these signatures to lawmakers on February 4, 2020, but you can still sign on and join the call to action!

Share this Call to Action with your public health colleagues! You do not have to be an OPHA member to sign or share the Call to Action. Ask your organization to formally sign on!

See the individual signatures so far (as of 2/3/20)
