Empowering Health Professionals: Catalysts for Climate and Health Activism

Climate change is the most existential threat to our health. As a trusted health professional, you can take part in supporting policies and actions that combat the climate crisis and safeguard human health.

APHA’s Center for Climate, Health and Equity is partnering with Health Care Without Harm and ecoAmerica to host a webinar called Empowering Health Professionals: Catalysts for Climate and Health Activism. This webinar aims to unite institutions and people across the health sector in leveraging their role as trusted communicators and important partners in the fight for climate justice and health equity.

Join fellow APHA members and partners across the health sector to:
  • Learn how climate change significantly impacts our communities and some of the solutions needed to reduce harm,
  • Discover your role in climate advocacy as a health professional, and
  • Hear stories from health professionals about the new resources and tools they are using to advance climate justice.
